To date over 9,500 people have taken up the challenge and between them have raised over £7 million and clocked up over 513,000 miles. That's the equivalent to walking to the moon and back. Starting in Fort William the route passes through some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery - up Glen Nevis, down the Devil's Staircase, across Rannoch Moor, past Crianlarich and finishing at Ardlui on the shores of Loch Lomond.
To help raise the sponsorship money, we have organised various events, from selling cakes and biscuits to raffling a day off work! In addition to these activities, we are asking our suppliers and customers to sponsor our participation in the challenge. The RBS Caledonian Challenge 2007 takes place on 16th and 17th June and involves over 1500 participants walking 54 miles non-stop along the West Highland Way. FST Technologies have entered a team of six people who are taking part in this year's RBS Caledonian Challenge, where we hope to raise a minimum of £3000 sponsorship for the Scottish Community Foundation, a unique charity that supports local charities and community groups throughout Scotland.
