FST invest £1.2M in state-of-the-art specialist equipment from Xerox and Buhrs

I am delighted to announce that FST has made a significant investment in new digital print and collation solutions from market leaders Xerox and Buhrs.

This investment consists of two new Xerox Docuprint 180 digital printers - taking FST's number of Xerox printers to seven in total (including two highlight colour printers). The new printers will be leased over a five year period and constitute an investment of over £1 million for the business.

In addition to the new printers, FST has also purchased an additional Buhrs BB700 collation system, representing a capital investment of over £200,000. Able to collate a complex mix of customer communications within a single pack, the new insertion system is capable of creating up to 14,000 packs per hour.

These new purchases augment our existing production capability allowing us to respond to a variety of new opportunities within the marketplace, where our customers are looking to integrate new electronic channels.

FST's increased capabilities will allow us to develop more profitable customer engagements for our clients - helping them increase conversion whilst reducing significant cost from the communication process.

This investment represents a considerable achievement for FST and is confirmation of our current business growth strategy, underlining our commitment to developing a unique service offering.
