FST supports the BHFs - The Big Donation

FST is proud to take part in the British Heart Foundation’s latest appeal – The Big Donation. Every year, heart and circulatory disease claims around 200,000 lives - chances are heart disease has already affected you, your family or your friends. The British Heart Foundation’s network of over 600 shops urgently needs unwanted items to raise vital funds and help keep more families together.

The nation’s heart charity is challenging the Great British public to donate their unwanted quality items to help reach its target. They aim to fill 350,000 bags of quality donations in September, creating stock valued at £7 million. Last year BHF Shops contributed £15 million to help in the fight against heart disease. But this year, BHF Shops aims for The BIG Donation to help them beat that figure.

FST are participating in The Big Donation at work scheme. It’s really easy to do; anyone can sign up for a Big Donations kit, which contains the bags to be filled with stock as well as posters and other items to help promote the event to staff. When the bags are full the BHF will arrange for them to be collected from your place of work.

If your employer is not part of the scheme, you can drop your unwanted items at any BHF Shop and any Argos, Homebase and Lidl store (except Northern Ireland).
